Filming Wraps on Nepali Movie 'Kalli' Ahead of February Release

The filming for the movie 'Kalli', scheduled for release on Falgun 1, has concluded. The shooting wrapped up in Chobar after filming the item dance number 'Kya Ramri' featuring actress Pooja Sharma. Producer Kiran Nepali informed that the filming was completed in 60 days.

The song, set to music by Ashish Aviral, was choreographed by Ramji Lamsal. The lyrics are by Surendra Rana, with vocals by Ashish Aviral and Melina Rai. Actress Sharma stated that she loved the song immediately upon hearing it, which prompted her to participate.

This marks Pooja's first work on a song following her marriage. Pooja expressed her excitement about performing an item dance for the first time in her career. In addition to Pooja, the song's video features actors Uttam Pradhan, Kiran Shrestha, and Sulakshan Bharti.

The film, presented by Lekali Entertainment and Kasturi Production, features story and direction by Laxman Sunar and writing by Mahesh Dawadi.

The main cast includes Uttam Pradhan, Saugat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Benisha Hamal, Sulakshan Bharti, Nazir Hussen, Barsha Raut, Begam Nepali, Binod Neupane, Rear Rai, Priyanka Acharya, Arjun Gurung, Sanjog Rana, Gita Adhikari, Kul Bahadur Adhikari, Saraswati Khatri, and Shyam Magar. Upesh Dhakal, Manjila Baniya, and Samarpan Khatiwada appear as child artists.

The cinematography is by Nishal Poudel, editing by Milan Shrestha, music by Ashish Aviral, Sarit Rai, and Ketan Kshetri, with Suraj Acharya serving as the Production Chief.

The teaser for the film has already been released and has been well-received by the audience. The movie narrates the story of gods and demons. The production team stated that the song will be released shortly.
