CPN-UML Leader Yogesh Bhattarai Expresses Concern Over Party Chairman's Remarks on Ticket Distribution

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Deputy General Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai has stated that he is saddened and concerned by the views expressed by Chairman KP Sharma Oli regarding the non-issuance of tickets to him and other party leaders. Furthermore, he announced that he will not make any comments on the matter until Falgun 21.

"I do not wish to engage in a public debate on internal party matters until Falgun 21. My mission is the Sun symbol and the CPN-UML," Bhattarai said on social media on Friday. "No ifs, no buts. I am neither rattled nor disappointed." However, he did express that he was concerned and saddened by the Chairman's statement.

"I will only say this much: I am concerned and saddened by the Chairman's statement. I do not believe anyone took a ticket with a written guarantee of victory," Bhattarai stated. "Please do not call me further regarding this matter."
