Nepali Congress General Secretary Says Upcoming Elections Will Be Based on Party's Stances

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Paudel has stated that the upcoming elections will be contested based on the issues raised by the party.

Talking to journalists at the party's central office in Sanepa on Friday, General Secretary Paudel said that since the competition will be based on the issues raised by individuals rather than the individuals themselves, the manifesto will clarify the issues they have raised.

Paudel stated that in this election, the party desires to start the country's development by having the party president contest in the Madhesh region. He argued that once the party president is elected from the Madhesh, the country will unite with a new resolution.

General Secretary Paudel also revealed that the party is attempting to develop a practice within the party to announce the prime ministerial candidate from the party even before the periodic elections in this cycle. He claimed that their issues will be established in a way that builds the nation under the leadership of the Congress.
