Situation Normalizes at Bal Sudhar Griha After Overnight Clash; Police Deployed Heavily

The current situation at the Child Reform Home (Bal Sudhar Griha) in Sanothimi has returned to normal. However, a heavy police presence has been mobilized for security. Tensions escalated at the facility on Thursday night following a clash between two groups.

Police reported that during the clash between the two groups, a team led by the chief of the Thimi Police Circle was deployed to bring the situation under control, but they were met with stone-pelting.

The clash between the two groups at the Child Reform Home escalated into arson and vandalism, requiring the mobilization of fire engines from Bhaktapur and Kathmandu in the middle of the night to control the blaze.

There are currently 169 residents at the reform home, comprising 145 males and 24 females.
