Rajbiraj, Saptari – Police arrested 10 people for stealing electricity from various places of the district on Thursday. The arrest is part of a campaign to control electricity theft.
A joint team from the District Police Office and Nepal Electricity Authority's Saptari distribution centre also confiscated five electricity motors, two fans, one Television and two electricity meters used in stealing electricity from the arrestees. The arrestees have been fined Rs 5000 each, said the police.
