Ethnic communities urge chair Dahal for review in public holidays

Kathmandu – A delegation of various indigenous and ethnic organisations has urged CPN (Maoist Centre) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' to review the public holidays that were recently scrapped by the government. 

The government has reduced the public holidays this year. 

Responding the concern of delegates, chair Dahal committed to initiate a review of the scrapped holidays. 

Chair Dahal also said that the government should have talked with concerned sides before deducting the public holidays.
