RPP greetings on International Workers' Day

Kathmandu – All three breakaway parties of the Rastraiya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have extended greetings to mark the 129th International Workers' Day. 

Unified Rastriya Prajatantra Party –Nationalist Chairperson, Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani, has extended greetings to all Nepali workers in the country and abroad on the occasion of the May Day. 

In a statement, Lohani noted that the working class agitation which started on May 1, 129 years ago with the demand for eight hours of work, eight hours of rest and eight hours of entertainment has helped the working class in achieving social justice and social security. 

Rastriya Prajatantra Party Spokesperson, Bhuwan Pathak, in a statement said today's golden day has been achieved through the sacrifices and struggle of the workers in the past. The party demanded with the government to create internal employment opportunities through disciplined labour. 

Rastriya Prajatantra Party – Democratic Spokesperson, Rajendra Gurung, urged the government to create employment through increased investment in the productive sector of the country and lend priority to the workers' social security.
