Yadav Calls Karki's Recommendation a Positive Step

The President of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, Upendra Yadav, has stated that the decision to recommend former Chief Justice Sushila Karki to lead an interim government is extremely positive. He shared this view through social media.

Stance on Constitution Amendment

Alongside this, Yadav explained that the current constitution should be improved through amendments and rewriting. He stressed that both the constitution and the parliament must be maintained.

He was quoted as saying, "The current constitution must be improved through amendments and rewriting, while keeping the constitution and the parliament intact. The dissolution of parliament and the scrapping of the constitution cannot be in the country's best interest."
