Gold Price Hits a New Record High

The price of gold has reached a new all-time high in the local market. This increase follows a similar trend in the international market, showing a direct impact on local prices.

Current Local Prices for Gold and Silver

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Federation, the price of gold has increased significantly. The price has risen by two thousand rupees per tola. Gold is now being traded at two hundred twelve thousand rupees per tola. This is the highest price ever recorded for gold in Nepal.

The price of silver has also seen an increase. It has gone up by ten rupees per tola. Silver is now being bought and sold at two thousand five hundred rupees per tola.

Comparison to Previous Prices

Last Friday, gold was traded at two hundred ten thousand rupees per tola. This means the price has increased by two thousand rupees since then. Earlier, on Wednesday, gold was traded at two hundred seven thousand nine hundred rupees per tola, and silver was at two thousand four hundred eighty rupees per tola.

International Market Influence

The rise in local prices is directly linked to the international market. International news media report that gold is currently being traded at three thousand five hundred eighty-six US dollars per ounce in the global market. This international surge is the main reason for the record-breaking prices in Nepal.
