Major Thefts Reported in Kathmandu and Saptari

Nepal Police have reported that two separate thefts occurred on Saturday night, resulting in the loss of property worth millions of rupees. The incidents took place in Kathmandu and the Saptari district.

Theft in Kathmandu Home

In the first incident, a house in Tarekeshwar Municipality-6, Paiyutar Height, Kathmandu, was targeted. The home belongs to Devendra Mainali. Thieves stole various gold jewelry and cash from the property. The total estimated value of the stolen goods is approximately 800,000 Nepalese rupees.

Theft in Saptari Home

In a similar event in Saptari, a house in Rajbiraj Municipality-7, Kharsal Tol, was broken into. This house is owned by Ranjit Kumar Mandal. The thieves made off with gold jewelry and cash from this property as well. The total value of the items stolen here is estimated to be around 282,000 Nepalese rupees.

Police Investigation Underway

Police have confirmed that investigations into both theft cases are currently ongoing. Authorities are actively searching for the individuals involved in these incidents.
