Sectoral Performance Overview
The Production and Processing sub-index was the only group to see an increase, rising by 0.15 percent. All other sectoral indices experienced declines.

The Banking sub-index fell by 0.88 percent, while the Development Bank sector saw a larger decrease of 1.69 percent. The Finance sector dropped by 0.53 percent. The Hotel and Tourism index declined by 0.68 percent, and the Hydropower sector decreased by 1.19 percent.

Other sectors also saw losses: Investment fell by 0.78 percent, Life Insurance by 0.44 percent, and Microfinance by 0.15 percent. The Mutual Fund sector decreased by 0.16 percent, Non-Life Insurance by 0.50 percent, Trade by 0.19 percent, and the Others category declined by 0.10 percent.
