Kedar Yadav Elected as Chairman of JSP Nepal in Saptari

Kathmandu; Kedar Yadav has been elected as the chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal in Saptari district. The election took place during the district convention held in Rajbiraj on Tuesday. Yadav secured 235 votes, defeating his closest rival, Umesh Yadav, by a margin of 30 votes. A total of 504 votes were cast in the election for the chairman position.

The convention also elected other office bearers for the district committee:

• Vice Chairman: Laxman Yadav (defeated Hareram Yadav by 9 votes)

• Secretary: Niraj Mukti (won by 1 vote)

• Joint Secretaries: Rita Chaudhary and Rameshwar Yadav

• Treasurer: Amarendra Yadav
