Today’s Wholesale Prices of Vegetables and Fruits in Kathmandu (August 1, 2025)

The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Committee has set the wholesale prices for agricultural products today. Below are the updated rates for commonly traded vegetables and fruits in Kathmandu.

Vegetable Prices (Per Kg)

  • Tomatoes:

    • Big (Nepali): Rs. 50–60 (Avg: Rs. 56)

    • Small (Local): Rs. 20–30 (Avg: Rs. 26)

    • Small (Tunnel): Rs. 30–40 (Avg: Rs. 36)

  • Potatoes:

    • Red: Rs. 42–45 (Avg: Rs. 44)

    • Red (Indian): Rs. 27–30 (Avg: Rs. 29)

    • White: Rs. 30–32 (Avg: Rs. 31)

  • Onions & Garlic:

    • Dry Onion (Indian): Rs. 36–38 (Avg: Rs. 37)

    • Green Onion: Rs. 100–120 (Avg: Rs. 113)

    • Dry Garlic (Nepali): Rs. 140–160

  • Leafy Vegetables:

    • Cabbage (Local): Rs. 20–30

    • Spinach: Rs. 40–45

    • Mustard Greens: Rs. 40–50

  • Other Vegetables:

    • Carrot (Local): Rs. 100–110

    • Bitter Gourd: Rs. 10–20

    • Bottle Gourd: Rs. 20–30

    • Cauliflower (Local): Rs. 70–80

    • Mushroom (Button): Rs. 340–380

Fruit Prices

  • Apples:
