Author Chalise bereaved

Kathmandu –Senior author and journalist Vijaya Chalise has been bereaved of his spouse. His wife Laxmi succumbed to cancer this morning in course of treatment at the Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.

She was 66, according to litterateur Jagat Prasad Upadhyay. Her final rites will be conducted at local Gokarna Ghat in Gokarna today itself. The late Chalise is the daughter-in-law of noted litterateur Ramesh Vikal.
