Ayurveda promotion for well-being stressed
Kathmandu – Various speakers have stressed the need for promoting Ayurveda as an indigenous health treatment method.
At the closing ceremony of International Conference-2018 on Ramban Ayurveda and overall healthy life, speakers highlighted the importance of Ayurveda treatment system for a healthy and happy life.
The programme was jointly organized by Maharshi Vedic Foundation, Maharshi Health Centre Germany and Herbal Medicine Vidhyapeeth India.
On the occasion, Foundation Chairperson and former Minister of State for Home Affairs Deepak Prakash Baskota said that they are providing support to all Ayurveda campuses for the promotion of Ayurveda health science in Nepal.
Maharshi Ayurveda Health Centre Germany Chief Executive Officer Loafer PK said that the medicines made up of herbal plants in the Himalayan country Nepal are more useful.
International Director of World Peace Country Nepal Dr Kings Brooks said some US organizations and UNESCO have been providing support in the campaign to materialize the thoughts of Maharshi Yogi in making Nepal a hub of Vedic knowledge.
Some 20 working papers on Ayurveda were presented in the two-day conference. Total 58 Ayurveda experts from seven countries participated in the conference.
