Saiyara" Opens Strong at the Box Office in Mumbai

The film Saiyara, starring newcomers Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda, has made a powerful debut at the box office. With strong advance ticket sales, the movie was initially projected to earn ₹20 crore on its opening day but surpassed expectations by collecting ₹21 crore. So far, the film has reportedly grossed over ₹45 crore.

Saiyara has delivered the fourth-biggest opening of 2025, challenging even established star-led films. Directed by Mohit Suri, this musical romantic drama hit theaters on Friday.

Record-Breaking Debut for Ahaan Pandey

The film has also set a record for Ahaan Pandey, making Saiyara the highest-grossing debut film for any actor on its first day, surpassing previous records. Following Chhava, Sikandar, and Housefull 5, it now stands as the fourth-biggest opener of the year.

Budget and Future Prospects

Produced under Yash Raj Films, Saiyara was made on a budget of ₹45 crore. The film has already recovered its investment through its Friday-Saturday business and is now moving into profitable territory. Industry experts expect it to perform well on Sunday as well.
