NEPSE drops for seventh consecutive day

Kathmandu, March 11 — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has fallen for the seventh consecutive day.
On Tuesday, the NEPSE index dropped by 32.21 points, closing at 2719.20 points. This decline follows a decrease of 20.68 points on Monday, when the index settled at 2751.42 points.
Despite the continued decline in the NEPSE index, trading activity has seen a slight increase. On Tuesday, a total of NPR 8.39 billion worth of transactions took place, up from NPR 8.37 billion on the previous day.
Out of the 244 companies listed on the exchange, 32 saw their stock prices rise, while 209 companies experienced price drops. The remaining three companies maintained stable prices.
