Pre-monsoon season begins in Nepal

Kathmandu, March 2 — The pre-monsoon season has begun this year. The pre-monsoon period starts after the winter season ends, signaling the onset of pre-monsoon in Nepal.
According to senior meteorologist Prativa Manandhar, the three-month pre-monsoon period will bring higher temperatures across the country, along with thunderstorms, lightning, and rainfall.
