Prakashman Singh confirms candidacy for NC President

Surkhet, March 2 — The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakashman Singh, has clarified that he is also a candidate for the party's President.

Speaking to reporters at Surkhet Airport on Sunday, he stated that he would not step back under any circumstances.

"I am not ready to go lower than the position I currently hold," he said.

He further added, "Leadership change should happen according to the party's constitution. In this process, institutional development should be prioritized over personal interests."

He also expressed his determination to strengthen the party organizationally.

"Internal conflicts are increasing as we approach the upcoming general convention," he said. "Various leaders have laid claims to the position of President."

He emphasized that competition within the party is natural but should follow the proper procedures and party rules.

He also stated that the general convention should be seen as an opportunity to make the party stronger.
