Myagdi records two quakes just minutes apart

Kathmandu, February  25 — Two consecutive earthquakes struck on Tuesday morning, just minutes apart, with the epicenter located in Myagdi.

According to the National Seismological Center, the second earthquake occurred at 9:26 AM with its epicenter in Muri, Myagdi, and had a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale.

Earlier, at 9:18 AM, a quake with a magnitude of 3.5 was recorded with its epicenter in Muna, Myagdi.

On Monday morning, another earthquake occurred with the epicenter in Lamjung.

The quake, which had a magnitude of 3.1, was centered around Khudikhola near Ghanpokhari in Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-2.

The tremors were felt in various parts of the district.
