Balen Shah urges PM Oli to ensure foundation for living as a Nepali

Kathmandu, February 21 — The Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balen Shah, has urged Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to provide a foundation for living as a Nepali, addressing him directly.

Referring to the continuous insults from foreign nations, Shah requested the Prime Minister to focus on creating an environment where one can live as a Nepali, forgetting his title as mayor.

On social media, he wrote: "Dear Prime Minister, America has already called us corrupt, India calls us beggars, and China doesn't respect us. Forget about me being the mayor and just provide a basis for living as a Nepali."
