Three parliamentary committee meetings to be held today

Kathmandu, February 21 — Today, meetings of three parliamentary committees are being held simultaneously.
At 11 a.m., the meeting of the Committee on Development, Economic Affairs, and Good Governance will take place.
The discussion will focus on the progress (semi-annual) of the capital budget of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport and its subordinate bodies/organizations.
At 11:30 a.m., the meeting of the Industry, Commerce, Labor and Consumer Welfare Committee will be held.
The discussion will be about the wages of workers employed at Mount Everest Brewery Pvt. Ltd., with representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Nepal Rastra Bank, and the Ministry of Industry.
At 1 p.m., the meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will be held, where there will be a clause-by-clause discussion on the Civil Service Bill, 2024.
