Kathmandu, February 9 — A clash broke out between scrap dealers and personnel from the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Force in Teku, Kathmandu.
The altercation took place when the metropolitan police attempted to demolish the shelters of the scrap collection centers.
During the conflict, two metropolitan police officers and two scrap dealers were injured, according to Metropolitan Police Force Senior Superintendent Bishnu Joshi.
Scrap dealers have been protesting the city’s crackdown efforts, which have been ongoing for some time.
