Gold price drops in domestic market
Kathmandu, January 27 — The price of gold dropped in the Nepali market on Tuesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of hallmark gold decreased by 900 rupees per tola, and silver dropped by 15 rupees compared to the previous day.
The Federation reported that the price of hallmark gold on Tuesday was 159,200 rupees per tola, down from 160,100 rupees per tola the day before.
Similarly, the price of silver, which was 1,850 rupees per tola on Monday, fell to 1,835 rupees per tola on Tuesday, the Federation added.
