Two teen sisters found dead in Achham
Surkhet, January 26 — Two teenage girls who had gone to tend goats in Achham have been found dead.
The deceased are 14-year-old Ishwari Khadka and 15-year-old Saraswati Khadka, both from Pulsaataa village in Dhakari Rural Municipality-8.
The bodies of the two sisters were discovered on Saturday afternoon after they went to graze goats on Friday, according to the Achham District Police Office. DSP Ishwari Prasad Bhandari from the Achham District Police stated that the bodies were found approximately 15–16 meters apart.
The incident appears suspicious, and the police have called for a trained dog to assist with the investigation.
According to DSP Bhandari, the location where the bodies were found is near a large rocky cliff. While initial investigations suggest they may have fallen from there, the truth will only be revealed through further investigation. Both girls showed signs of injury on their bodies, he added.
The two were studying in class 8 at Bidhyajyoti Secondary School in Kamalbazar Municipality-10.
