Gold price hits 160,000 rupees per tola

Kathmandu, January 22 — On Wednesday, the price of gold in the Nepali market reached 160,000 rupees per tola.

This marks an increase of 1,900 rupees compared to the previous day, where the price of hallmarked gold stood at 158,100 rupees per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, silver prices also saw an increase on Wednesday.

The price of silver, which was 1,875 rupees per tola the previous day, rose to 1,895 rupees per tola on Wednesday.
