Rainfall in eastern hilly belt including Valley

Kathmandu – The easterly winds with water vapour have caused weather variation and subsequent rainfall in Kathmandu Valley along with eastern hilly belt. 

According to meteorologist Sameer Shrestha, the impact of the easterly wind triggered shower with thunders. The weather will see improvement from tonight, he said. 

It is still raining with thunders in various parts of Kathmandu Valley. According to meteorologists, Kathmandu witnessed the rainfall of 0.5 millimeter, Okhaldhunga 0.9, Taplejung 0.5 and Janakpur 2.4 millimeter.
