COAS Sigdel awards Lieutenant General insignia to KC

Kathmandu, November 29 — Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Ashok Raj Sigdel has awarded the rank insignia to Major General Pradeep Jung KC, who was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General on Friday.

According to the decision of the Council of Ministers, KC was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General with effect from November 25.

With the promotion, Lieutenant General  KC has also been appointed as the Chief of Staff of the Nepal Army.

The ceremony, where the insignia was presented, was attended by senior army officers and family members.
