Kathmandu, November 22 — Traffic management in Kathmandu has been disrupted as the ruling CPN (UML) prepares for a demonstration at Durbar Marg.
The UML announced plans to build a stage at Durbar Marg and conduct a rally from Bhadrakali, leading to challenges in managing traffic in the city.
“Our votes put them in power, and now they are protesting and making life difficult for us. Ultimately, who is this show of strength for?” said a local resident in the Sundhara area.
Currently, major areas of Kathmandu, including New Road, Shahid Gate, Sundhara, Jamal, Bhirkutimandap, Bhadrakali, Tripureshwor, and Singha Durbar, are experiencing severe traffic congestion.
