Nine injured in bus accident in Rukum West

Surkhet, November 16 — At least nine people were injured in a bus accident in Rukum West.

The bus, with registration number Province 3-01-005 Kha 9966, was traveling from Kathmandu to Raadi in Aathbiskot municipality of Rukum West when it crashed near Ritha, on Saturday.

The bus fell approximately 100 meters off the road, as confirmed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Nabaraj Pokharel.

All the injured passengers were rescued and taken to municipal hospital in Rathi for treatment. Police have stated that further details of the incident are yet to be received.
