Nepal Airlines conducts test flight to Tikapur Airport
Kathmandu, October 28 — A test flight was successfully completed on Monday at Tikapur Airport by Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).
According to spokesperson Ramesh Poudel, the flight was conducted from the aircraft registered as 9N-ABU to the airport in Kailali.
He stated that the test flight took off from Nepalgunj at 12:45 PM local time and landed at Tikapur Airport at 1:15 PM. The test flight involved a joint team of technicians from NAC and the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.
NAC has expressed its commitment to operate regular flights on the Nepalgunj-Tikapur-Nepalgunj route as soon as the aircraft becomes available. Poudel noted that this initiative is under the special direction of the NAC's Executive Chairman, Yuvaraj Adhikari.
During the test flight, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Arun Kumar Chaudhary, as well as leaders from the Nagarik Unmukti Party, including Resham Chaudhary, were present.
