Drivers, helpers trained in Bhaktapur
Bhaktapur – The Metropolitan Police Range and Metropolitan Traffic Police Range, Bhaktapur have jointly provided training to the bus drivers and helpers in a bid to reduce the road accidents.
The initiative to orient the drivers and helpers was taken after the death tolls from the road accidents have gone up every week in the district.
The training was organized from Thursday to the drivers of bus, truck, tipper of Bhaktapur district aiming to reduce road accidents and human casualties. The drivers were trained on road lane, legal issues and other related topics.
Chief District Officer Drona Pokharel, the entire officials of transport committees in Bhaktapur, Superintendent of Police (SP) Kiran Rana, other police officers and stakeholders asked the drivers and helpers to translate the messages of the training into practice.
