Gold prices surge after Dashain

Kathmandu, October 15 — On the first trading day after Dashain, the price of gold has increased.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold has reached 160,500 rupees per tola (11.66 grams) on Tuesday.

Previously, on October 9 (Ashwin 23), the price of gold was 159,100 rupees per tola.

Compared to that day, the price of gold has risen by 1,400 rupees per tola today after Dashain.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased.

On October 9, silver was traded at 1,900 rupees per tola, and today it has risen by 25 rupees to be traded at 1,925 rupees per tola.
