One electrocuted to death in Rautahat
Rautahat, October 8 — A young man has tragically died from electric shock in Rautahat. The victim, 26-year-old Aslok Kumar Mahto, was a resident of Mithuba village in Yamunamai Rural Municipality.
Aslok Kumar was electrocuted while connecting the wires of a motor installed for irrigating his rice crop in his own field.
He was transported to Shivadarshan Hospital in Sukdev Chowk for medical treatment; however, the doctors declared him dead last night, as confirmed by DSP Rajan Karki, chief of the Garuda Area Police Office.
The body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem examination at the Provincial Hospital in Gaur.
The District Police Office in Rautahat has reported that an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
