Road collapse at Krishna Bhir: Traffic limited to one-way

Kathmandu, October 2 — A section of the road has collapsed at Krishna Bhir in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality along the Prithvi Highway.

Following the road collapse, one-way traffic is being allowed, according to SP Naresh Subedi of the Bagmati Province Traffic Police Office.

Due to the risk of landslides, police have been deployed 24/7 in areas of the Prithvi Highway deemed hazardous.

SP Subedi stated that in sensitive areas, plainclothes officers and traffic personnel will monitor for landslide risks and manage traffic by holding vehicles 500 meters away if necessary.
