In pictures: Vehicles stranded on highways due to landslides
Kathmandu, September 29 — Due to the continuous rainfall since Thursday, landslides at various locations on the Tribhuvan Highway and Prithvi Highway have caused cargo and public vehicles to become stranded in the middle of the road.
Vehicles attempting to enter and exit the Kathmandu Valley are stuck. Cargo and public transport vehicles trying to leave the valley are halted near the Thankot checkpoint, while vehicles coming into the valley from outside are blocked at the tunnel route.
