Bus from Gorkha confirmed buried in Jhyaple Khola; Three bodies recovered

Kathmandu, September 29 —  A bus buried in the Jhyaple Khola area of the Naubise-Nagdhunga road has been confirmed to have come from Gorkha. Of the four people aboard, three bodies have been recovered.

The bus went missing while traveling from Lapubesi in Gorkha to Kathmandu. During the excavation process at Jhyaple Khola, the bus, registered as Na 4 Kha 2270, was identified as the missing vehicle.

According to Chudanidhi Tiwari, an information officer at the Gorkha District Administration Office, only part of the bus was visible initially, but further searches confirmed it was the bus that had gone missing on its way to Kathmandu.
