Update on highway obstruction: Some reopened, others still blocked

Kathmandu, September 28 — Due to incessant rainfall and landslides, highways across various parts of the country have been blocked. Reports indicate that passengers are stranded along the roads.
According to Nepal Police, four road sections in the valley are completely blocked.
In addition, there are five blocked roads in Koshi Province, 21 in Bagmati, four in Gandaki, three in Lumbini, and one in Karnali.
Some of the five blocked roads have been reopened, while others are operating in a one-way manner. Major highways, including the Prithvi Highway, have been affected by landslides.
