All domestic flights suspended

Kathmandu, September 28 — Due to continuous rainfall, domestic flights from Tribhuvan International Airport have been suspended.

Rinji Sherpa, spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Office, informed Ratopati that domestic flights cannot operate because the rain has not stopped and there are no alternative airports available. He stated, "Domestic flights have not been able to take off."

All stations of the Civil Aviation Office outside Kathmandu are closed.

On the international front, a Qatar Airways flight from Doha landed at Tribhuvan Airport on Saturday. Air Arabia is also in the process of landing, according to Sherpa.
