Toddler dies from electric shock in Sarlahi

Sarlahi, September 23 — A toddler has died from an electric shock in Sisautia, Godaita Municipality-10 of Sarlahi. The victim was two-year-old Ayush Kumar Chaudhary, the son of local Sudish Chaudhary.

Ayush suffered the electric shock while playing at home when he inserted his finger into an electrical plug, as informed by District Police Spokesperson, Inspector Deepak Shrestha.

The boy, who became unconscious from the shock, died while undergoing treatment at the hospital, according to the police.
