Ratopati receives prestigious Press Council Code of Conduct Award

Kathmandu, September 22 — Ratopati.com has been honored with the Press Council Code of Conduct Award. The award was presented during an event held on Sunday at the President's Office, Sheetal Niwas, marking the Council's 55th anniversary. President Ramchandra Paudel presented the award at the ceremony.

This award is given to media outlets that do not violate the journalism code of conduct. In the same event, this year’s Press Council Gopal Das Journalism Award was jointly presented to Akhanda Bhandari, the editor of Annapurna Post, and the Nepal Press Institute (NPI).

Journalist Badri Sigdel has been honored with the Press Council Surendra Bahadur Basnet Journalism Award. The Council awards various categories each year on the occasion of its anniversary, recognizing decorated journalists, active contributors, youth, inclusivity, linguistic diversity, literary achievements, and other fields.
