CK Raut's wife Sindhu seeks police protection

Kathmandu, September 19 — Sony Sindhu, the wife of Janamat Party Chairman Dr. CK Raut, has gone to the police station demanding security. She arrived at the Imadol police post in Lalitpur, citing feelings of insecurity from Raut. Sindhu told Ratopati that the police had "refused" to accept her application.

DSP Chitra Bhattrai from the Satdobato police circle confirmed that he instructed his subordinates to accept Sindhu's application. "I have asked the Imadol post to take the application," he stated.

Dr. Raut had previously submitted a request for security to the police as well. Their case is currently pending in court, and Raut has filed a petition in court seeking a divorce from his wife.
