Vice-Chairperson Bhupendra Budha among fatalities in Baglung accident

Pokhara, September 13 — The identity of the woman who died in the Baglung accident has been confirmed.
The police have verified that the body belongs to Bhupendra Budha, the vice-chairperson of Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality in East Rukum.
An identification card was also found at the accident site. The deceased, 33-year-old Budha, was from Ward 12.
Budha was elected as vice-chairperson of the rural municipality from the CPN (Maoist Center) party in the local level elections of 2022.
According to Baglung police spokesperson DSP Bijay Yadav, the identification of others involved in the accident is still pending.
