Shree Airlines Kahtmandu-Surkhet flight makes emergency landing

Kathmandu, September 9 —  A Shree Airlines flight from Kathmandu to Surkhet made an emergency landing at Tribhuvan International Airport just minutes after takeoff.

The flight, which departed at 7 a.m., was back at the airport within 8 minutes.

Passenger Madan Khadka told Ratopati, "The plane was unexpectedly brought back to Tribhuvan Airport just 8 minutes after takeoff."

Sources at Tribhuvan International Airport informed that the aircraft returned due to a steering wheel malfunction.
