Army truck catches fire in Makawanpur

Makawanpur, September 5 — A fire erupted in a Nepal Army truck while it was traveling on the road in Thaha Municipality-4, Makawanpur.

According to Lakshmi Bhandari, Spokesperson for the District Police Office Makawanpur and Deputy Superintendent of Police, the truck, registration number Ba 1 Ga 3436, suddenly caught fire while traveling towards Simbhanjyang.

The truck, which belongs to the Shreeyuddha Bhairav Battalion Training Camp was carrying soldiers who were en route to Simbhanjyang for training. The fire completely destroyed the truck, but fortunately, no one was injured.

The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
