Traffic resumes on Kanti Lokpath
Makawanpur, September 5 —The Kantilokpath, which connects Hetauda and Kathmandu has now reopened. It had been blocked due to landslides and incessant rainfall.
Traffic on this route was halted when a landslide occurred in Lamrang, Bakaiya Rural Municipality-11, Makwanpur.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Bhandari, the spokesperson for the District Police Office in Makawanpur, announced that the road has been cleared of landslides and traffic has resumed.
He added that traffic is now operational on several routes, including Tribhuvan Rajpath, Bhimfedi-Kulekhani-Fakhel-Sisneri road section, and the East-West Highway, which connects Hetauda to the federal capital, Kathmandu.
