Three labourers die of asphyxiation in septic tank in Nawalpur
Kathmandu, August 30 — Three people have died from suffocation in a septic tank at Rani Nagar in Binayi-Tribeni Rural Municipality-7, Nawalparasi East (Nawalpur).
The victims have been identified as 38-year-old Prakash Singh Chhetri, 19-year-old Ganesh Bogati, and 28-year-old Mohammed Raja, all from Bardaghat in Nawalparasi West.
Chief District Officer of Nawalparasi East, Arun Pokharel, informed that the victims died despite being rescued and taken to the hospital.
Prakash Singh Chhetri’s body is at the District Hospital Nawalparasi West, while the bodies of Ganesh Bogati and Mohammed Raja are at Bhim Hospital in Bhairahawa.
The tragedy occurred when the individuals lost consciousness while working inside the septic tank of a local resident, Bhola Singh Chhetri.
