Thursday’s trading sees NEPSE end at 2749 points

Kathmandu, August 29 — On the final trading day of the week, the stock market index (NEPSE) fell by 36.83 points on Thursday. Trading began at 2791 points and ended at 2749 points amid significant fluctuations.

Shares were traded on four days this week. The market dropped by 80 points on Sunday.

There was no trading on Monday due to a public holiday. The index fell further by 112 points to 2782 points on Tuesday.

Wednesday saw a slight increase of 3.80 points, but the market decreased again on Thursday.

Over the course of the week, the market has fallen by a total of 145 points.

Investors from 53 companies made gains on Thursday, while 188 companies experienced losses and 2 companies' share prices remained stable.

A total of 2,834,000 shares of 322 companies were traded, resulting in a turnover of NPR 12.24 billion.
