Gold prices hit new record, silver prices drop

Kathmandu, August 29 — The price of gold in the Nepali market has set a new record. The price of gold reached Rs 153,200 per tola (11.66 grams) on Thursday.
This follows a previous record set on Wednesday, when gold was priced at Rs 153,100 per tola.
In contrast, the price of silver has decreased. Silver was traded at Rs 1,855 per tola on Wednesday but fell to Rs 1,830 per tola on Thursday.
