Suspicious object found near Deuba's Dhangadhi residence; IED suspected
Kathmandu, August 25—A suspicious object was discovered early Saturday morning around 1 a.m. in front of Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba's residence, located near the Employees' Provident Fund in Dhangadhi.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Padma Bahadur Bista from Kailali informed that the object was found wrapped in wire inside an old bag, but its exact nature is still unknown.
The police have decided to call in the Nepal Army's bomb disposal team to examine and handle the item.
Currently, Deuba's nephew, Prakash Bahadur Deuba, the former Minister of Physical Infrastructure for Sudurpaschim province, is residing at the location.
